Message from Shapeshifter:
Happy upcoming Tofurkey Day to all - may you find new and wondrous ways to love your families this year. Enjoy our fall colors newsletter; even though all the leaves have fallen here now and winter is on its way, we wanted to share with you some of the colors we enjoyed here in the WNC mountains.
We are just finishing up on our first release in our Sanctuary of Sounds project -- this is truly an angelic transmission of beauty that you'll want to have in your collection. This will also be sold in our catalog and is tentatively titled "Sanctuary." This CD will be a further evolution of our classic Healing soundscape. There are also hints of this presence in our latest release, ReJuva -- track 6, Lifecodes & Jewel. The Sanctuary of Sounds project offers soundscapes to those who would like to have their personal imprint and cover design to market their services and/or to use for gifts, retail sales, fund raising events and more. This concept can also be used by those who would like to record guided meditations or spoken words on top of the music. We will also be doing our own guided journeys using this CD for massage therapists who would like to start offering a Sound Healing Massage.
DeAnne Hampton continues to expand her workshop schedule here in Asheville, NC as well as across the planet, that they have already booked her again in Spring and Fall of next year. She is currently offering weekly intros and classes, as well as a monthly weekend workshop in the Asheville area. Be sure to check her schedule and register early to reserve your spot. These classes will be kept small so that she can offer each person that special one on one attention. She is currently working on her 2006 traveling schedule. If you would like to have DeAnne visit your area, be sure to email her to make these plans.
Thanks to all those who responded to our survey questions last issue - as a result we have decided to start offering some teleconferencing intros to our work as well as to develop our teleconference workshops. We will keep you posted on this progress as things develop.
We would like to add a new section to our newsletter featuring art and writings from those of you working with our soundscapes to open up your creative expression. If you have anything you would like to submit for consideration, email us. We begin this issue with a painting submitted by Karen Kirschbaum which was done while listening to DNA #3. Karen is also the person who creates the ReJuva Flower Essences and Vibrational Spritzers.

When one looks at life from a higher dimensional level of reality, energetically everything can be seen as a musical symphony; be it rhythmic, staccato, flowing, chaotic or melodic. So with this analogy in mind, doesn't it make perfect sense that using consciously created music to evolve the human species, that it has the potential to affect ones life in powerful and transformative ways. Shapeshifter brings through the Sounds of our Future so that we can listen to them in our NOW, which allows us to manifest our dreams and desires in our present timeline.
DNA Activation Soundscapes Q&A
Everyday we receive questions from people working with our soundscapes, which we would like to share with you to help build your own knowledge of how to work with them for more effective results. We take snippets from the questions and the responses and maintain the anonymity of our customers. Should you find one of your questions in this section, know that you are sharing your Light and wisdom with others.
QUESTION:I was just at your site and wanted to ask you if I could through DNA activation do the following: 1) learn foreign languages, even if IĞm not taking courses in that area, but achieve it through osmosis with the higher self (when I speak about languages it also can be math, informatic programming...) Something we can learn when we learn to be one with all things and beings? 2) if youĞre going down straight to our DNA can we change the way our physical body looks? I mean have a prettier symmetrical face, and a perfect fit body (no more cellulite,stretch marks,wrinkles). Since neither of these aspects I believe is healthy for our physical body?
ANSWER: Good questions and certainly something to ponder more deeply yourself. First off, anything is possible with the right set of circumstances and beliefs, you can literally walk on water, if you so choose. So you have to ask yourself what is the key to being who you are now and what would it take within your energetic system to capture the belief that you could learn a language by osmosis and change the way your physical body looks. This requires a big leap in consciousness and one that does take steps and stages to accomplish. Nothing is going to come instantly until you fully embody the belief that this can be so. This is where the work of developing consciousness actually comes in. The DNA Activation process is a slow, steady one that will ultimately get you there. It can always be accelerated at various stages in ones evolution. As far as what you personally may need to learn or what skills you need to develop is only something you can answer. How much time, energy and dedication are you willing to put in to this accomplishment. What is within your field now that needs to be cleared and reexamined in order for you to fully embrace a belief system that would enable you to accomplish these goals. We have seen a lot of changes in intelligence with this work over the years, using an osmosis type of learning. The soundscapes should be played in the background while studying material that you want to absorb more easily. It helps to rewire the neural pathways that will help you learn and comprehend new knowledge. All of this is directed by your intent, which must be clear and focused. Doing ceremonies to capture the essence of your desires are required. As for changing your body shape towards continual rejuvenation and regeneration, that is also possible and requires work as well on your part to support that manifestation. In other words, you can't feed your body toxic substances so that it continually has to work on detoxification processes instead of regeneration processes. You also have to hold a higher vision of what you look like in order to reprogram the blueprint that may be continually reproducing an undesirable look. Affirmations and positive thoughts are important to counter any negative programming that may be imprinted in your early life or pastlife matrix. The DNA Activation soundscapes provide you with an empty template of energy and sustenance, with unlimited possibilities; you have to decide what to put into that space to redesign yourself into a form that supports all your dreams and desires.

Visit Darv's site http://www.geocities.com/darvkrizton/index.html regularly for the best reviews on the web for higher consciousness music. Darv's linkfest for synthesists specializing in sounds inducing alternate states of awareness. Brainwave Pulses, Harmonic Resonance, Special Tunings. The reason these are called "sound arts" and not "music" is that much of it is not melodic, but instead organized sound which is designed to induce mind states via the entrainment principle of physics.
ACTUALLY WRITING THIS DURING
MY 1ST LISTEN... I found Shapeshifter years ago when googling "visionary
music," as I am an aficionado of visionary sound arts. At that time, I
made a full acquisition of their CD catalogue. a while later, 2001, Shapeshifter
released the quite excellent "Shamballa" disc which has some incredibly
intense portions that I aired on my radio show repeatedly, perhaps out
of proportion because I was enjoying them so much myself :) The earlier
Shapeshifter works display a steady increase with each release of compositional
skill & complexity, and a progression in understanding of the use of the
medium. I recommend 1993's "The Odyssey" as great backsound for yogic
exercise, massage and other therapeutic activities. The 1996 4-CD set,
"DNA Activation Series," has some spectacular moments but is overall deeply
meditative, more darkly gaseous than iridescent, and while energetically
interesting and transformative, somehow not coherent. The tryps involved
were rather confused. "Shamballa," ! now THAT was an unqualified success
that I can unreservedly highly recommend to anyone interested in channeled
music. (o, did I mention? well that's what it was basically: an atlantolemurian
Aquarian transmission. electronica somewhere in the sethian/sirian region
between angelic music and Steve Roach. dark like soul; penetrating like
psi. Light at times, but mostly soulful. deep meditation. Which brings
us to the new disc which continues this great direction set by "Shamballa."
a long disc by even today's standards, clocking in at an apparent 79:33,
this is obviously well-considered narrative electronica, surging with
auric undercurrents at times, then gentle as if handling a delicate flower.
The disc begins with swirling astral waters, has a visitation from the
solar power, visits the woods, soars through a sky of tranquility like
a bird, then descends into deep meditation as if visiting the below spaces
of the Emerald Tablets, the "Halls of Amenti" so-called (so it seems to
me.) I don't expect everybody will be particularly stoked with this part
of the journey as one's energy is somewhat challenged by a mysterious
dissonance. This environment becomes deep space, filled with all manner
of cosmic interactions, radiation and astral phenomena, where we are subjected
to intense transformative forces. I experienced healing energies at work
at this point. Then, the voice of a karnatic singer and a didgeridoo shift
the entire mood of the working to the long piece, "Light of the Grail,"
which while still carrying the mood of an lemurian-atlantean magickal
working is able to cleverly inject a Celtic flavour and a shift to druidism,
this leads to a very impressive encounter with the Gaian earthsoul which
is a mandala into which we dive ever deeper to then be shown the Lifecodes
& Essences. This is the showcase of the entire album and really where
the disc moves into clearly angelic Divine spaces. It is also the cutting
edge of Shapeshifter's work in sound therapy. Ending with a breathtaking
harp solo over synth & voice, I must say it fully vindicates this acquisition!
the final movement,"Rejuvenation," is both visceral and grounding, seeming
to seal in and affirm the work that has been done and the changes that
have been made. And promises of future work that will occur and transformations
that will be made! fading to a close on a very mellow groove, one comes
out of it, at least I did, feeling clarified and nourished. [And quite
energized, I was up well past my usual time for falling asleep that night]
I must say on repeated listen the recording has new gems to reveal. This
may be one of those discs that takes a number of listens for the conscious
mind to start to "get it." Suddenly, one realizes that animal sound is
sculpted into the voicing. On each listen, a new ethnic musical influence
from a new region of the world is added to the plethora. The disc seems
to expand in its ramifications with each new listen. "ReJuva" is a quantum
jump for Shapeshifter, which continues to improve with every release!
in this day & age, when people constantly ask me if I like this or that
new "artist" and they mean Britney Spears or Green Day or whoever, *THANK
THE DIVINE!* I can say "who? naw, I don't know that stuff" and go home
to listen to Shapeshifter [or somesuch.] This disc again partakes of the
growing emphasis on HEALING which has been the major motif of the Visionary
releases this year. It can easily be included as an exponent of this NEW
LEVEL in the use of sound as medicine.

Several times over a few months' time I awoke in the middle of the night while sleeping to CD #3. I awoke to find that my back had opened up like two doors into deep space. Magical geometric shapes turned and danced to the music. Each shape was followed by a trail of rainbow prismatic colors - infinite colors in the deepest space. This is the cosmic energy that lives behind all forms, the indwelling spirit. This energy lives within us as we are living within deep space. This is expressed in the music of Shapeshifter and in a small way in this painting. -Karen

them in any CD player. The AYD 1 is now completed and begins by building

Projects in the Que This is what we are working on now....... We always initiate several projects simultaneously. Our multidimensional selves are continually working on receiving guidance and transmissions on many levels, while our 3D selves are taking care of business and grounding those workings which are ready for release. Bajor -- the first in a series of guided meditations with
healing sounds to connect you to source energy. Crop Circle MusicCyber-Shamanic Music We are also working on our active, danceable, shake your booty Cyber-Shamanic music. These rhythmic, melodic textures are created with the intent to transcend the limitations of current electronica genres. This will be organic, dynamic, powerful and transmutational tantra for vibrational upliftment of the body temple -- for dance, movement and conscious exercise. It will require the implementation of new technologies, as well as developing aspects of our talents and abilities to the next level. This series will debut startlingly original new vocal layering and recording techniques. As always, original and highly creative sonic design and no canned drum loops/samples. LevelTwo DNA Activation Series Some of the sound design for this project has already begun. This release will be accompanied by a video/DVD release and much more. In Spring of 2006, we will be having a week long workshop to bring forth these transmissions. It will be in or around the Asheville, NC area on May 13-19, 2006. We are inviting anyone who has worked with the DNA LevelOne soundscapes for at least 6 months to attend. More details will be posted soon. Our guidance has indicated that these soundscapes will come forth from the collective group. We encourage you to let us know now if you want to be a part of this project, as we will probably limit the group to 50. This event will be an amazing gathering of beings all dedicated to spread Light on the planet and ground the next levels of DNA Activation. During the workshop, special creative sessions will be done to bring forth any related supplemental projects. Financial opportunities and royalties will be offered for any that are accepted as final releases. This event will be unlike any workshop you've ever attended. Tantric We are also working on a tantric lovemaking soundscape for those who are taking their sexual expression to a more spiritually focused experience.
