To get started, fill out the application HERE. Hosts need to set up the event in their area by renting space and doing whatever promotion they need to in order to attract participants. We suggest yoga centers as a great place to begin. They usually have great floors, sound systems and floor mats. Another good location is dance studios that may have open times when they are not teaching classes. Some healing centers also have workshop space you can use. For larger events, you can look into the rental halls, nightclubs and churches in your areas. It is optimal that you have the best sound system, so you can also consider hiring a DJ who has this equipment. The better the range of your sound, the better your dance event will be - meaning a good low level woofer to the higher end tweeter is best. But do what you can within your budget. Each event host will determine their own attendance fee based on what they are offering and the scope of the event. For a basic idea -- Small dance waves (1 hour) are usually $5 to $10 to attend. Two or more hours can start at $20 and go up. More can be charged for larger events which offer more than just a dance wave. You can add things on to this event that you feel would be complimentary - fire dancers, drummers, hoop dancers, performers, speakers, presenters, live musicians, healing sessions, etc. We will charge you an initial download fee for the dance mix file plus a licensing fee for each event. Once you purchase a Dance Wave Sountrack you can use it again for other events and you only need to pay the licensing fee. All future events need to be registered with us prior to using the mix. Since all events are a different size and focus, we cannot provide specific costs here. Please email us with your project and we will give you an idea of what it will cost to use our dance mix. Give us details about the size, type of event and presentation so we can determine appropriate fees. We encourage you to create these events with other creative artists in various forms of entertainment -- drummers, fire dancers, hoop dancers, singers, etc. Get together with your friends and start creating events together, even if you just start in your own living room. Have a party and invite all your friends. Share in the fun and the revenue streams it creates for you and your communities. Meet up online and expand your venues to includes other bands or musicians to share their music and turn it into a festival. Add these dance waves to conventions that would be open to adding a dance to the evening schedule. Retreats where the content during the day engages much of the mental body can add a dance wave at night to free up the energy and let participants have some fun and let go. The possibilities are endless and we will get them posted as we hear of more ideas.
